Established in 1996, The Royal Tea Room & Gift Shoppe was the first tea room of its kind to open in the Tampa Bay area. Located in South Tampa, this enchanting tea room is the perfect setting for an afternoon meal with friends or the perfect spot to indulge in affordable retail therapy.
The enchanting gift shop includes a variety of lifestyle gifts to pamper yourself and those you love. Of course you'll find anything and everything related to tea, along with home décor, fashion jewelry, tableware, fragrant soaps & candles, baby gifts, a wide selection of Vera Bradley and much more!
Behind the gift shop the European themed tea room awaits. Elegantly appointed but still comfortable, guests enjoy flavorful teas and a three-tiered caddy with scones, savory bites and delicious desserts. The Royal Tea Room’s exceptional food is made on the premises. “We take pride in going great lengths to provide our guests with only the finest foods, even importing exclusive items such as Swiss chocolate cups and croissant dough from France,” says owner Denise Winter.

Our The gift shop is open Tuesday - Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Traditional afternoon tea is served Tuesday - Saturday at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm by reservation.
